Clinical Scope and Specialist Interests

Sheena accepts referrals for a broad range of oral surgery procedures, including adult and paediatric oral surgery, management of impacted and buried teeth, jaw cysts, peri-radicular surgery, oral lesions, oral medicine conditions, and intravenous sedation. She also provides masseter Botox for patients with myofascial pain related to parafunctional habits.

Extractions with Ridge Preservation

Sheena offers dental extractions with ridge preservation where appropriate. This technique aims to minimise post-extraction bone resorption and maintain alveolar ridge volume, supporting future restorative options such as implants or fixed prosthodontics. Ridge preservation may help reduce the need for more extensive bone augmentation at a later stage and can improve both functional and aesthetic outcomes for patients. Early referral allows timely assessment and discussion of suitability, enabling patients to make informed decisions about their long-term treatment options.
