Mr Moore qualified in 1987 from Guy’s Hospital, University of London. He is a Consultant Oral Surgeon at Borders General Hospital, an Honorary Consultant in Oral Surgery at the Edinburgh Postgraduate Dental Institute and he also holds the academic post of Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Edinburgh. He has been on the Oral Surgery Specialist Register for over 20 years and his clinical practice focuses on surgical treatment of adult and paediatric patients with dentoalveolar disorders.

Adult and paediatric oral surgery including third molar surgery (wisdom teeth), removal of impacted and buried teeth; oral trauma; jaw cysts; peri-radicular surgery; implantology; bone grafting and pre-prosthetic surgery; gingival plastic surgery; mouth lesions and oral medicine; simple and advanced sedation techniques.
